If you follow my Instagram account @kellyelizabethdesigns you probably saw that Chris and I took an extended weekend trip to Atlantis in the Bahamas with his parents. The beach was beautiful, the weather was great, and the people were so nice! I'm going through all of our cameras and phones and I'll be posting a travel photo journal soon.
I did a little pre-trip shopping and as Chris says, I came home with everything made of straw that I could find. That's actually true but it's the Bahamas! When in Rome, right? I picked up this straw fedora at Nordstrom for only $18 and these tortoise cat eye sunglasses for $12. I hate taking expensive sunglasses to the beach because they always get so sandy and gross. These were perfect!
I got this dotted top from H&M for $12.95 which unfortunately only seems to be available in stores. It's so cute and breezy and definitely worth the trip to the mall. It's actually very versatile and though it's tied for a cute summer weekend look here, it could easily be worn to the office. While I was at H&M I also found this super cute straw tote bag which I was thrilled to discover had a zipper at the top. I hate dropping my bag on the sand to go for a swim and my sunscreen and my room key and everything else comes spilling out.
These denim cut offs by Free People are super cute and cozy and of course I packed my nude patent Sam Edelman Gigi sandals. You'll be seeing those a lot in our trip photos!
