Tampa Bay Bloggers & Creatives Brunch

I've been thinking about hosting a brunch for Tampa Bay bloggers and creative ladies for the longest time and since we have so much more space in our new house, I finally got to do it! I sent out very last minute invites to a bunch of phenomenal ladies trying to squeeze it in before we left for Paris. I think it's so important that women come together to support and encourage each other, especially in a creative field. Even though the world is more connected than it ever has been, it's so easy to feel isolated and like you're the only person in the world that isn't living in a highlight reel of perfection. Blogging can feel pretty competitive at times but there's room for everyone. When one of us succeeds, it paves the way for the rest of us to succeed. A rising tide lifts all boats!

I took to Pinterest to plan out a fun menu and decided on mini omelets, avocado toast, prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe, mini doughnuts, and a waffle bar with blueberries, strawberries, bananas, chocolate chips, and powdered sugar! I know nothing about champagne (since I'm the only person I know that can't stand the taste of alcohol) so I put Ashley in charge of the mimosa bar and we took a field trip to Total Wine. We decided on an international theme and when I was asked which bottle to get, I went with my gut and obviously chose the one with the prettiest label.

I whipped up a white faux brick photo wall from vinyl party tablecloths and removable wallpaper and a tissue paper garland I've seen a million times on Pinterest. Yay for a Pinterest DIY turning out cute the first time around!

The girls from Kendra Scott Hyde Park were beyond sweet and gifted all of the girls with a little swag bag to celebrate their new store and invite all of us to their Grand Opening! If you haven't been to their new space, you must!
