Thanksgiving Wrap Up

Thanksgiving was pretty much a food parade at our house! I made my signature blueberry banana pancakes and we watched the parade and the dog show. (Yay, Nathan!)

We decided that the weather was too beautiful to stay inside all day so we headed to Hyde Park and went for a walk. Once we got back, I had to bake the pecan pumpkin bread mix from Williams Sonoma. I substitute greek yogurt for butter and it's so good!

I pretty much cheated and ordered the majority of our dinner but I'm happy I did because I could actually relax and not spend the whole day in the kitchen. We ordered our favorites from Fresh Kitchen and called it a day. Almond crusted chicken, brown rice, brussel sprouts, and cauliflower. I picked up mashed cauliflower from Whole Foods and roasted sweet potatoes myself. We have a long running joke in our family about festive paper napkins and plates so they make an appearance at pretty much every holiday during the year!

The next morning Chris went to South Florida to see his family and my mom and I braved the malls! There aren't any pictures from our Black Friday shopping because we were just trying to make it out alive!

Saturday night we went to the Lightning game and Sunday afternoon we saw The Theory of Everything at the historic and beautiful Tampa Theater. It was so good!

I hope you all had a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday!
